BritsNîmes is an English-speaking non-profit association in the Gard area, offering a wide range of regular social and cultural activities designed to help you to settle in, get to know the area, make new friends and meet local people (while of course a helping hand when in need is always welcome too!).
It's not just British people living in Nîmes (although it was founded by one, Robin Boxall, almost 20 years ago!) - today BritsNîmes has members of over 20 different nationalities all over the Gard, with some having lived in the area for many years, while other are new arrivals.
BritsNîmes is always delighted to welcome new members, with membership open to individuals or couples/families. You can find out more information via our website www.britsnimes.com, emails, newsletters and our Facebook and Instagram pages.
We look forward to you joining us at BritsNîmes!

For our British members, on the right side under useful links you will find a link to the British Embassy for all the necessary information around Brexit.

Our events and clubs are on hold till further notice !

For those who do not have a project to work on, why not come along and make a few Christmas cards!  Please contact Gill if you are going to attend.

You can come along with any of your knitting, sewing, painting projects or anything
you like to enjoy creating in company.
So, dig out some of those unfinished craft projects or
come along with those ideas of things you always wanted to make and
join a group of friendly chatty people who like to be creative.

We are offering to share our ideas and expertise,
we can teach you new skills and inspire you to make wonderful things.
Not got anything to make, come along and get some ideas while enjoying a chat.

This new group will be meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
If you are interested contact Gill and let her know what you are going to be doing
so she can prepare a suitable space.

Costs: €    5 pp to cover expenses
                 € 15 pp for a teaching project.
