Meeting at a Member’s house each month

We met with a heavy heart in February as we had learned of the death of one of our members, Márie Brennan. We will greatly miss her insightful critique of our books and her wonderful selections. Our thoughts are with Roger, a fellow member and all their family.

In March we will be discussing ‘Cloud Cuckoo Land’ by Anthony Doerr. This is a mind stretching tale taking the reader from fifteenth century Constantinople, through present day Idaho and on to an intergalactic spacecraft no less. If you have read and enjoyed his previous novels you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy the journey.
